Hi8 to Digital Conversion

Hi8 tapes were once the premium choice for home video recording—offering sharper images and richer color than standard 8mm or VHS-C. Many families used Hi8 camcorders to film vacations, school concerts, and special milestones. But like all magnetic tape formats, Hi8 degrades with time, and the camcorders needed to play them are becoming rare.

Memories by Liberty provides professional Hi8 to digital conversion services to preserve those moments before they fade.

Using high-quality playback decks, we capture your Hi8 footage with excellent clarity and convert it into easy-to-watch digital files. Your memories are then saved to our secure Liberty Cloud, where you can view, share, and download them anytime. Prefer a physical copy? We can also deliver your videos on a USB thumb drive for simple, offline access.

No more hunting for an old camcorder—your Hi8 memories will be ready to watch on any computer, smart TV, or phone.
